Latest Update on BPSC CCE 2023: The BPSC 68th mains exam has been conducted and the commission has announced the date of 30th September for the 69th BPSC CCE exam. Candidates can now download the admit card for the Bihar BPSC exam from the official websites. 

Earlier the 67th CCE Prelims for BPSC 2021-22 recruitment was scheduled to be conducted on 8th May 2022. The admit card for the 67th BPSC Prelims was released on 25th April 2022. However, BPSC has cancelled the 67th CCE Prelims Exam due to the question paper leak.

The 66th CCE Interview is scheduled from 18th May to 22nd June 2022. On 3rd August 2022, the final result for the 66th BPSC CCE was released.

About BPSC – Bihar Public Service Commission

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) conducts recruitment exams to fill Group A, B, C posts in the state administration of Bihar. Among the various exams, the Combined Competitive Exam (CCE) is one of the most prestigious and tough exams. Through the CCE, the BPSC recruits for about 20 posts and services.   • The commission officially made the 67th CCE BPSC Prelims admit card available on September 20th. Candidates can check the linked article for the latest updates regarding the BPSC admit card.
  • On May 9, 2022, the commission announced the cancellation of the 67th BPSC Prelims Exam due to a question paper leak. Fresh Prelims Dates will be announced.
  • The 67th BPSC CCE Prelims Admit Card will be accessible from April 25th, 2022, onwards.
  • On March 28, 2022, the commission announced the postponement of the 67th BPSC Prelims from May 7th, 2022, to May 8th, 2022.
  • On March 8, 2022, the commission announced the postponement of the 67th BPSC Prelims date, expected to be conducted on May 7th, 2022.
  • On February 1, 2022, the commission announced the commencement date of the Prelims exam for the 67th BPSC CCE, set for April 30, 2022.
  • On December 7, 2021, BPSC notified the postponement of the 67th CCE Prelims scheduled for January 23, 2022, with no reason stated. The commission has not yet announced revised/new dates.
  • The Notification for the 67th CCE BPSC Exam was released on the official website on September 24, 2021.

BPSC – 66th CCE

The BPSC Exam is conducted on similar lines as the IAS Exam. The exam pattern of BPSC CCE is given below:

  • Stage 1 – Prelims – 150 marks (Objective Type)
  • Stage 2 – Mains – 900 marks (Descriptive Theory)
  • Stage 3 – Interview – 120 marks (Oral)

BPSC Online Application

Salient Points related to BPSC Online Application:

  1. For the first stage of the BPSC exam i.e. the Prelims, candidates have to submit the online application before the last date mentioned in the notification
  2. The online application fee for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates is Rs 150 for BPSC Pre
  3. Even though candidates have to fill another form if they clear Prelims, the choice of Optional Subject for Mains needs to be entered in the Prelims Application Form
  4. Candidates have to first open the official BPSC website and register for the exam
  5. The next day after registration, candidates can pay the fee online
  6. The next day after paying the fee, candidates have to fill out the application form online
  7. BPSC will not entertain any requests regarding changing details entered by candidates in the form
  8. Candidates should double-check the entered Email Id and Mobile Number
  9. The User Name and Password generated as part of the registration process should be noted down by the candidates
  10. Candidates will also have to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature (Hindi and English)
  11. After submitting the online application for BPSC Prelims, candidates should log in again and click on “Download Filled Application Section” on the dashboard
  12. Download the filled application and take two printouts for safekeeping
  13. For all exam-relatedID details, candidates should refer the BPSC notification
  14.  Candidates who clear the Prelims stage will have to fill out to another form

BPSC Admit Card

The admit card for BPSC Exam will be released a month before the examination. The hall ticket for the 65th BPSC Mains examination and call letter for the 64th BPSC interview will be released ahead of the examination dates. About BPSC

The Bihar PSC is a constitutional body under Article 315 of the Indian Constitution.

The BPSC came into existence in 1949 after its separation from the Orissa and Madhya Pradesh commissions. It is mandated to assist the state government in matters of recruitment, transfers and disciplinary actions.

The BPSC headquarters at the time of its inception was located in Ranchi which was later shifted to Patna, the state capital.
