About JPSC:

The state of Jharkhand came into existence after bifurcating 18 districts from the State of Bihar in the year 2000. The Governor of Jharkhand formed the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) under the provisions of Article 315 of the Constitution of India. The primary objective of JPSC is to conduct examinations for recruiting candidates for various posts in the Jharkhand State administration.

Composition:
